Exams & Revision
The Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ)
Schools and colleges must adhere to JCQ regulations relating to Level 1 / 2, GCSE or A level examinations. Students also have responsibilities to ensure the integrity of the examination process by following the Boswells School rules and those set out by JCQ, which are below. Students should familiarise themselves with these documents as non-compliance may lead to a penalty by the exam boards, which could include disqualification.
The Boswells School list of external qualifications
JCQ has stated that all students should be available to sit any Level 1 / 2, GCSE or GCE exams that have been rescheduled due to sustained national or local disruption that has arisen, during the examination period. This is referred to as “Contingency Day“ which has been set for 24th June 2020.
Students will receive their provisional exam timetables in January 2020.
