Danbury 2019

Mon 23 Sep 2019

On the 19th June 2019, 160 year 7 students headed to set up camp for our annual Danbury Trip. The week is designed to allow Year 7 to enjoy four days completing a range of activities and enjoy the fresh air! The activities included; Climbing Wall, Orienteering, Canoeing, Mountain Biking, Puzzle Solving, Bush Craft and many more. The students excelled in working in different groups, and displayed outstanding resilience and team building skills.

A highlight of the trip for staff was the camp fire, and ‘Danbury’s Got Talent’ which the students were supportive and respectful. Students throughout the week were polite, enthusiastic, kind and were a remarkable asset to the school.

Thank you to year 7 for a wonderful week in Danbury!
