Open Evening 2019 a great success!

Thu 03 Oct 2019

A record number of parents and children attended The Boswells School for its annual Open Evening on Wednesday.

There were a vast number of activities taking place across the school including drama and dance demonstrations, robots in Technology, various science displays and volleyball.

More than 200 Boswells students took on the role of Student Guides or were on hand throughout the various departments to speak to parents and prospective Boswells School students who may be joining the school's Year 7 next September.

Talks were given by headteacher Stephen Mansell and Year 7 students Dylan Holdsworth and Emma Thorne, who spoke about their transition from primary school and their early days at The Boswells School.

Mr Mansell said: "The Boswells School is at the heart of the community and we will continue to build upon our track record of outstanding academic success to ensure that each and every student, regardless of their starting point, achieves well and aspires to be the very best they can be."
