Outstanding Achievement by our Year 13 Students
Our Year 13 students received some fantastic results this morning, which they should be highly proud of, particular given the uniquely challenging circumstances. The overwhelming majority of our students have achieved the grades to take up places at top universities to study a range of courses or into their chosen profession.
Even though the students did not sit the end of course examinations, this should not take away from the significant hard work and commitment put in by the students, with the excellent support of parents and teachers.
Particularly outstanding results were achieved by:
Elizabeth B: A* grades in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Chemistry and an A grade in Physics and will be going to University of Durham to study Chemistry.
Hannah B: A* grades in Psychology and Media Studies and an A grade in English Language and will be going to University of Kent to study Psychology.
Amy L: A* grades in Psychology and Extended Project Qualification and A grades in Law and English Literature and will be going to University of East Anglia to study Developmental Psychology.
Daniel S: A* grades in Mathematics and Further Mathematics and a B grade in Media Studies and will be going to University of Reading to study Mathematics.
Samuel W: A* grade in Mathematics, A grades in Computer Science and Further Mathematics (AS) and a B grade in Economics and will be going into employment as an automation software developer.
Our Year 13 students have been outstanding ambassadors for the school and tremendous role models to inspire our younger students. It was great to see them this morning and we wish all of them every success in the years to come.
