U16 Girls Netball

Fri 11 Oct 2019

The U16 netball team played this week in the first round of the National Cup competition.

The competition was held at Brentwood School, the girls first played against a strong Ursuline side comfortably winning, which was an impressive show as they hadn’t trained as a team together before the competition.

The next match was tougher against New Hall who had made the finals the previous year, the team still held their own, staying level for the whole game, then narrowly getting beaten in the last minute.

The last game of the group stages was Brentwood, both teams proved themselves by playing through some awful weather, Boswell came out victorious meaning we went through to the knock out stages as runners up.

The last match of the evening was played against St Martins, the girls played their best and managed to keep fighting for the whole game, securing the win and place in the second round of the Nationals Schools in November.

Every single girl played fantastic and should extremely proud of themselves.

Well done to all involved!
